Monthly inspections involve annual line-leak testing and tightness testing of underground storage tanks and interstitial testing of secondary containment tanks to determine if there is leakage. Testing of the cathodic protection systems on tanks, quay walls and piers is also conducted in order to prevent corrosion damage to infrastructure assets and to ensure regulatory compliance

One of our recent projects involved installation of a replacement back-up fuel tank. MTIS assumed full responsibility for complete project management including permitting, removal and replacement of the tank in close proximity to environmentally sensitive land.

Our ongoing responsibilities involve weekly visits for inspection and preventive maintenance. In addition, we maintain an online database for documenting work history, inspections, tank and related equipment data and schematics for reporting purposes.
